This is an application for regular bail in connection with Kotwa P. S. Case no. 107 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 307, 506, 387 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

Informant is the munshi of contractor and he in his written complaint has stated that on 6.6.2017 at about 12-30 hours three unidentified criminals came on a motorcycle and started indiscriminate firing and thereafter threatened informant to tell the contractor to give 5% commission to them otherwise they will have to suffer dire consequences.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is not named in the FIR and his name surfaced on the basis of confessional statement of one Santosh Kumar Singh and on the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6060 of 2018(3) dt.27-02-2018 2/2 alleged date of occurrence petitioner was in jail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Kotwa P. S. Case no. 107 of 2017.
