The petitioner, widow of late Mahendra Pratap Saha by filing the present writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondent State Bank of India to pay the revised pension with arrears to the petitioner in terms of the revised pension order dated 14.11.2019 issued by the office of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna alongwith the interest over the delayed

In compliance with the earlier order of this Court, Mr. Singh, learned counsel for the State Bank of India, on the basis of instruction given by the respondent State Bank of India dated 29.01.2024, submitted at the Bar, that the instruction reads as follows:- • The revision order has been implement with retrospective effect, i.e., with effect from 01.02.2014, as per rate mentioned at revision order P2, vide order no.

17/PEN250919173206/ 201311021923P2 dated 14.11.2019, however, date mentioned in the original PPO has been considered arriving the date of cessation of enhanced rate.

• The basic pension of the above pensioner had been revised in 6th CPC following the receipt of duly verified copy of the revision order by the Senior Treasury Officer, Purnea and an amount of Rs. 5,76.059/- towards arrear of 6th CPC from 01.02.2014 to 31.03.2017 has been credited to the above pen-

5. He further submits that so far the arrears on account of 7th Pay Revision and other admissible amount is concerned, the same shall be credited in the account of the petitioner preferably within a period of 4 weeks.

6. It is made clear that so far the arrears of pension on account of 6th Pay Revision is concerned, an amount of Rs. 5,76,059/- is already credited in the account of the petitioner.

7. Considering the submissions advanced on behalf of the learned counsel for the State Bank of India, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent bank to ensure payment of all the admissible arrears of family pension on account of 7th Pay Revision and other admissible amount, preferably within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt/production of the copy of this order.

8. This disposes the writ petition.
