i) For issuance of direction/ directions or order/ orders or writ/ writs particularly in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the appellate order dated 07.10.2022 passed in Anganbadi Appeal Case No. 346 of 2020 by the District Collector Samastipur i.e. Annexure-1 whereby and whereunder after holding the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16888 of 2022(2) dt.05-04-2024 2/3 original order dated 12.06.2020 passed in Anganbadi Case No. 403 of 2019 (Annexure-2) by the District Programme Officer (ICDS) Samastipur erroneous and setting aside the same and allow the appeal preferred by the appellant as well as consequential order contained in Memo No. 429 dated 11.10.2022 issued under the signature of Child Development Project Officer Bithan, Samastipur (i.e.

Annexure-3) by which private respondent no.7 was selected on the post of Anganbadi Sevika for Anganbadi Centre No. 136, Panchayat Salha Bujurg under Child Development Project Office, Bithan, Samastipur.

ii) For issuance of direction or order or writ in the nature of Mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent to reinstate/ retain the petitioner on the post of Anganbadi Sevika in the light of original order (i.e.

Annexure-3 of this writ petition) as the same is legal and valid on account of reason and speaking order in accordance with guideline 2011 issued by the government."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16888 of 2022(2) dt.05-04-2024 3/3 petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a suit before the Ld. Civil Court having competent jurisdiction, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
