JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-08-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1(i) for direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna to provide police security to the petitioner, who has serious life threat at the hands of unsocial elements."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievance, but no final order is being passed, hence he be granted liberty to approach the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievance.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate petition before the Director General of Police, Bihar Patna, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances, within a period of four weeks from today, which shall be considered, in accordance with law and appropriate decision shall be taken thereon.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
