Patna High Court CWJC No.13996 of 2017 dt.03-01-2018 2/2 National Highway No. 77 in Dighi Kala, Hajipur. It is alleged that on account of delay in acquisition and various other administrative reasons the construction activities are being stalled, even though the approved plan was sanctioned in the year 2009.

Keeping in view the nature of allegations made in the writ petition and considering the fact that acquisition proceedings are still going on, we are not inclined to issue any mandamus in the matter. Instead, we direct the petitioner to file a detailed representation in the matter before Respondent Nos. 4 and 5 and they are directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and expedite conclusion of construction of the National Highway in question in public interest. With the aforesaid, the matter stands disposed of. (Rajendra Menon, CJ) (Anil Kumar Upadhyay, J) P.K.P./- AFR/NAFR N.A.F.R.
