The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 379/414 of the Indian Penal Code.
A motorcycle suspected to be stolen property was recovered from the garage of one Jagarnath Prasad. It is alleged that the said motorcycle was of this petitioner. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 09.11.2017. Investigation is already complete. The petitioner has been implicated due to some dispute with Jagarnath Prasad.
Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12451 of 2018 (2) dt.05-03-2018 P2/ above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Chakiya P.S. Case No.296 of 2017, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
