The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 30/30(a)/47 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

14 liters of foreign liquor has been recovered from a person riding motorcycle and petitioner is alleged to be pillion rider.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has got no concern with the seized liquor. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Considering the nature of allegation and clean

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67161 of 2022(2) dt.16-12-2022 2/2 antecedent of petitioner, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Exclusive Special Excise Court, Saran at Chapra in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No. 56 of 2022, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
