JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 05-04-2023 Heard the learned Senior counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the Patna Municipal Corporation. The parties have jointly submitted that the issue now stands resolved.
Learned counsel for the Patna Municipal Corporation submits that a fresh inspection would be held and accordingly the amount would be assessed as to what the petitioner has to pay for getting his water connection supply restored. It is next
Patna High Court CWJC No.14732 of 2017(3) dt.05-04-2023 2/2 submitted that the same will be done within two weeks from today.
Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the moment, the Corporation furnishes the amount which the petitioner has to deposit, the same would be deposited before the competent authority and the receipt of the same shall be provided to the Municipal Corporation.
At this stage, the learned counsel appearing for the Patna Municipal Corporation submits that the moment the receipt is submitted by the petitioner to the Corporation, after depositing the amount so assessed after inquiry, the water connection supply shall be restored forthwith. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, which stands recorded hereinabove.
