This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Kuchaikote P.S. Case No.437 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

About 146 litres of foreign liquor and 40 litres of country made liquor has been recovered from a car and a motorcycle.

The petitioners are in custody since 22.08.2023 and they have clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, IV-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Court No. II, Gopalganj, in connection with Kuchaikote P.S. Case No. 437 of 2023.

This is subject to the condition that petitioners shall mark their attendance in Sadar Police Station, District-Muzaffarpur on first Sunday of every month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioners. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
