1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Nathnagar P.S. Case no. 586 of 2021, registered under Sections 341, 323, 307, 34 IPC.
3. The allegation in the first information is that the accused persons including the petitioner came armed with lathi and bricks etc. and assaulted the informant and his wife, causing injuries to them.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would be apparent from the first information report that so far as the allegation with respect to the informant is concerned, the same is general and omnibus in nature, while the allegation of assault with the respect to the wife of the informant is

No.66226 of 2025(2) dt.19-09-2025 2/3 specifically made against the present petitioner however, the injury sustained by the wife of the petitioner is simple in nature, and the grievous injury suffered by the informant Sikandar Mandal has been attributed to an assault made by all the accused persons with no specific allegations. It is further submitted that the petitioner and the informant are own brothers, and there is the land dispute between the parties. The petitioner is an old man at about 65 years of age. The petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the case/trial.
5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.
6. Taking into consideration the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and also considering that the petitioner and the informant are full brothers and the petitioner is an old man and also considering the age of the petitioner along with the general and omnibus nature of the allegations, let the above named petitioner who has no criminal antecedent, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Nathnagar P.S. Case no. 586 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the
