The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahnar P.S. Case No. 312 of 2018, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307, 326 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hajipur, Vaishali.

The accusation is that 12 persons named in the F.I.R., including the petitioner, came at the Bathan of the informant Ram Sikil Rai and started to abuse and assault to his sister in law and removed peg and nad, when informant and his family members made protest then Santosh Kumar (Petitioner) and others started to cause assault him and at that

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court within four weeks and pray for regular bail, which would be considered by the trial Court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
