2. This is the 2nd attempt of the petitioner. Earlier the bail application of the petitioner was rejected on 21.03.2024 vide Cr. Misc. No. 4990 of 2024.

3. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of pressing the neck of the deceased with a gamchha. Md. Sajid is said to have stabbed the victim.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.09.2023. He further submits that out of seven witnesses, six witnesses have been examined and the trial is on the verge of completion.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the fact that the trial is on the verge of completion, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application for regular bail is rejected.
