2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rahika P.S. Case No. 176 of 2023 (G.R. No. 1252 of 2023) registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2022.

3. Recovery is of 36 litres of illicit liquor.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.08.2023 and he has clean antecedent.

5. Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Rahika P.S. Case No. 176 of 2023 (G.R. No. 1252 of 2023).

7. The petitioner will visit Rahika Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
