2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Paliganj P.S. Case No. 285 of 2022, registered for the offence under Sections 419, 420, 409 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner who was Ward member is alleged to have embezzled the government money of 13.78 Lakhs for the government scheme. The Investigating Officer during investigation also found the embezzlement of money done by the petitioner and others and only boring was to found to be done without any water tower, meaning thereby that the work had not been completed. The contention of the petitioner is that the work of Rs. 8,51,000/- has been done.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner has clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the embezzlement done by the petitioner, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner though she is a women.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner stands rejected.

7. The petitioner is directed to surrender within four weeks and pray for regular bail.
