The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Karpi (Sahar Telpa) P.S. Case No. 57 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 409, 420, 419, 467, 468, 471, 472/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Informant is Sub-Inspector of Police vigilance who in his FIR dated 15.03.2017 has stated that three persons named in FIR have been appointed as Panchayat Sikshak on the basis of forged and fabricated document. During investigation it has surfaced that the petitioner who is the Panchayat Secretary was also involved in this forgery appointment. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1715 of 2018(3) dt.07-02-2018 2/2 he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. It has further been submitted that similarly situated co-accused namely, Rani Kumari has been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 20.07.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 24121 of 2017. It has further been submitted that he is in custody since 14.11.2017.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.C.J.M.-IV, Arwal, in connection with Karpi (Sahar Telpa) P.S. Case No. 57 of 2017.
