2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief/s:- "I. For issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for quashing Memo No.

308/Home Guard, Nawada dated 24.02.2025 issued by Collector, Nawada to the extent it relates to the petitioner whose case as been discussed at Serial-6 and petitioner selection for admission of Home Guard against advt.

no.-1/2009 has been cancelled i.e. Annexure-

Patna High Court CWJC No.16282 of 2025(2) dt.09-07-2026 2/3 P/1 and for a direction to the respondents to grant admission to the petitioner as Home Guard in the district of Nawada and for any other order or orders as your lordships may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of this case."

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed representation for fulfillment of her grievance before the District Magistrate, Nawada which is annexed as Annexure-P/4. But, on her representation, no decision has been taken till date.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that a direction may be issued to the concerned respondent authority so that decision may be taken on the petitioner's representation within a stipulated period.

5. In this background, the Collector, Nawada-cumChairman District Selection Committee, Home Guards, Nawada (Respondent no. 5) is directed to take decision on the representation of the petitioner. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Collector, Nawada-cum-Chairman District Selection Committee, Home Guards, Nawada (Respondent no. 5) explaining all the grounds and relevant notifications, circulars etc. within 30 days from

Patna High Court CWJC No.16282 of 2025(2) dt.09-07-2026 3/3 today and the said Respondent no. 5 shall pass a reasoned and speaking order within 90 days thereafter.

6. Accordingly, with the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed off.
