2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State.

3. The instant writ application has been filed by the petitioner for payment of salary.

4. The issue of payment of salary depends on validity of the appointment and after verification of the record to ascertain whether the petitioner has actually worked for the period she is

5. In view of the above, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Jamui to enquiry into the matter and if it is found that the appointment of the petitioner is legal and valid and the petitioner has actually worked for the period she is claiming salary, the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Jamui shall ensure payment of salary to the petitioner for the period she has actually worked.

6. Final decision in this regard must be taken by the respondent District Programme Officer (Establishment), Jamui within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
