2. The petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Pali P.S. Case No. 24 of 2025 dated 02.03.2025 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 352, 74, 109(1), 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on the alleged date of occurrence, co-accused Ranjhan Manjhi and petitioner no. 2 Santosh Manjhi were speaking indecently to informant's sister-in-law. On protest made by the informant, petitioner no. 2, Santosh Manjhi caught the informant and Ranjhan Manjhi cut the nose of the informant with knife. Allegation against the

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that from bare perusal of the impugned order, it reveals that the tip of the nose was removed by sharp weapon, which was committed by co-accused Ranjhan Manjhi. Other injury has not been discussed in the impugned order. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no specific allegation of assault against the petitioner no. 2. The allegation against the petitioner no. 1 is that he along with other accused persons assaulted the informant's brother, namely, Birju Manjhi, but his injury report is not available on record. Lastly, it has been submitted that petitioners have no criminal antecedents.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest / surrender of the petitioners within a period of six weeks from today, in connection with Pali P.S. Case No. 24 of 2025, they will be released on bail upon furnishing bail
