The petitioners seeks bail in I.F No. 10 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 27, 29 and 31 of the Wild Life Protection Act.

Informant is the Forest Extension Officer who in his written complaint dated 14.01.2018 has stated that on 13.01.2018, he was near the forest area and at about 5:00 pm on hearing the sound of cutting tree he went there, he saw the petitioners cutting the tree and preparing blocks of the said wood which is prohibited forest produce and on seeing the informant accused persons tried to flee away but they were

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13931 of 2018(3) dt.05-04-2018 2/2 apprehended by the informant along with the tree blocks prepared by the cutting of the tree which was seized. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are innocent and are resident of the nearby village and had gone to graze the cattles. It has been further submitted that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and are in custody since 14.01.2018.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-I, Bagaha, West Champaran in connection with I.F No. 10 of 2018.
