Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Siwan Mahila P.S. Case No.75 of 2015, registered under Sections 498A, 406, 420, 323 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that after death of the husband of the informant, the petitioner by falsely presenting got some money withdrawn from her account and land was to be purchased from that money in her name but the land was purchased in the name of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is father-in-law, only after death of his son the informant in order to put pressure for partition this case was lodged and the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3160 of 2018(2) dt.25-01-2018 2/2 petitioner is in custody since 02.12.2017.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner Upendra Nath Tiwari is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Siwan in connection with Siwan Mahila P.S. Case No.75 of 2015.
