The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Sasaram (T) Model P.S. Case No. 1712 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
Informant is the the Head Assistant of Registry Office, Sasaram in his written report has stated that on 18.11.2017 one Muni Ram came in the office and showing an affidavit form with printed judicial stamp of Rs. 100/-. The operator of Franklin machine namely Durgesh Kumar Gupta disclosed that stamp has not printed by Franklin Machine and that stamp is forged.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1868 of 2018(4) dt.12-02-2018 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is not named in the FIR and he is not the Stamp vendor. No incriminating material has been recovered from his possession. It has further been submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 19.11.2017. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas, in connection with Sasaram (T) Model P.S.
