2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 448, 147, 149, 385, 387, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

3. As per prosecution case, the petitioner along with others are alleged to have demanded ransom money from the informant and on protest, the accused persons started firing and threatened them.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. There is land dispute between the family of the petitioner and informant due to which the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70548 of 2023(2) dt.06-11-2023 2/2 case due to caste rivalry. It is also submitted that as alleged ransom demand has not been executed. The allegation against petitioner is false and fabricated. Moreover, he is languishing in judicial custody since 236.2023.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as custody of the petitioner, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Surajgarha P.S. Case No. 201 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Amandeep/- U T
