The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Balrampur P.S. Case No.228 of 2017 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code besides Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
The accusation is that on suspicion, a motorcycle, which was being driven by the petitioner, was stopped and, on search, 30 bottles, each containing 600 ml. illicit liquor, 3 bottles, each containing 750 ml. Indian Made Foreign Liquor, and 8 canes, each containing 500 ml. bear, from the bag were recovered. 10 bottles, each containing 600 ml. illicit liquor, were also recovered

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner, in the present case, is in custody since 07.12.2017.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Katihar, in connection with Balrampur P.S. Case No.228 of 2017. Out of the two sureties, one must be close relative of the petitioner, who will file an affidavit giving genealogy as to how he/she is related with the petitioner. The bailors will undertake to furnish information to the court about any change in the address of the petitioner.
