2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

"for issuance of a writ of mandamus and any other appropriate writ/order/direction commanding Respondents for fixation of land rent and entry of name of Petitioners in Tenant's Register-II and consequent issuance of rent receipt in favour of Petitioners with respect to a piece of land bearing Survey Plot Nos.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15848 of 2025(2) dt.03-11-2025 2/2 1460/1444 & 1461/1443, Khata No. 276, Touzi No. 8736, Thana No. 42, Area 78 Decimals situated in Mauza Mohanpur, P.S. Mokama, District Patna."

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that after filing of the writ petition, the Circle Officer, Ghoshwari, Patna has taken up the steps, notices have also been issued and in that background, it can be presumed that he is now moving in a right direction, they only wants disposal of the said case.

4. Learned State counsel has no objection to it and submit that it is the duty of the concerned officer to take the matter to its logical conclusion.

5. In that background, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the Circle Officer, Ghoshwari, Patna (respondent no.5), who has already taken up the matter to notice all the concerned parties related to the land and after hearing them/perusing the document, shall be taking it to a logical conclusion at an earliest preferably by 31.03.2026.
