2. The instant writ petition has been filed for following reliefs:- "a) For issue of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to process and release the retirement transfer allowance due to the petitioner within a stipulated time as prayed for in his representation;

b) Direct the respondents to pay interest on the delayed payment from the date of retirement till the date of actual payment;

c) Award costs of this petition to the petitioner;

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation has already been filed for adjudication of his grievances with regard to payment of Travelling Allowance, which is appended with the writ petition, as annexure P-2 series, at page 33.

4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that the concerned respondent may be directed to take final decision on the representation so filed by the petitioner, by fixing the time.

5. Considering the submissions of the parties, it is apt to direct the respondent no. 2 to decide the claim of the petitioner, for which representation has already been submitted on 15.02.2025, within a period of eight weeks from today.

6. Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.
