The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Yogapatti (Shanichari) P.S. Case No.431 of 2022 registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that the entire food grains was distributed among the beneficiaries by the petitioner (P.D.S. Dealer) but due to fault in the E-POS machine, the entry could not be made. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.68717 of 2022(2) dt.24-03-2023 2/2 parties, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Bettiah in connection with Yogapatti (Shanichari) P.S.
