Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Gogri P.S. Case No.405 of 2017, registered under Sections 385/387/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that the accused persons, covillagers of the informant, made demand of extortion money of Rs.5,00,000/- on the mobile of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is land dispute between the informant and other co-accused and the petitioner played role of a mediator, so falsely implicated in this case after lapse of 14 days and he has only two criminal antecedents that too lodged by the present informant due to earlier dispute.

Sabir is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Khagaria in connection with Gogri P.S. Case No.405 of 2017.
