1. The defects, pointed out by the Registry, are ignored.

2. The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Purnia to dispose off the application, filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license on 05.12.2018.

3. Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondentState submits that in case the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license is still pending, the same

Patna High Court CWJC No.18483 of 2024(2) dt.18-12-2024 2/2 shall be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Purnia to dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
