Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 353, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The co-sharer of the petitioners filed a complaint to the police that the petitioners are forcefully taking possession of the land of Durgawati Devi, the co-sharer. Thereafter, the policeinformant went to the place and asked the petitioners to show the document. Allegation is that the petitioners abused to the police and attempted to assault.
Submission is that just to give undue support to Durgawati Devi, the present false case has been lodged. The
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3496 of 2018 (2) dt.18-01-2018 2/2 petitioners are in custody since 09.10.2017.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Masrakh Police Station Case No. 279 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
