Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 120B of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-B)A, 26, 27 of the Arms Act and Section 3/4 of the Explosive Substance Act.
The petitioner is not named in the FIR, though some others are named in the FIR.
During investigation, it revealed that the firearm used for commission of the murder was of this petitioner, so much is the evidence against the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

No.2691 of 2018 (2) dt.16-01-2018 2/2 Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with S.T. No. 598 of 2017 arising out of Basantpur Police Station Case No. 257 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
