Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27(1-b)(a), 26, 35 of the Arms Act. A country made pistol and cartridges were recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 09.08.2017.

Submission is that co-accused Abhimanu Kumar @ Manu, having similar allegation, has already been allowed bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 19.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 62817 of 2017 (Annexure-2). Considering the nature of allegation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be

No.17516 of 2018 (2) dt.30-03-2018 2/2 released on bail after completion of one year of custody or after framing of the charge whichever is earlier on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Arrah Town Police Station Case No. 413 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
