JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 19-06-2023 Learned counsel for the petitioner is absent. Learned Government Advocate submits that pursuant to order dated 22.11.2017 of this Court, the vehicle was released provisionally and the confiscation proceedings have also been concluded.

If the confiscation proceeding is concluded against the petitioner, necessarily there would have to be an appeal filed. In such circumstances, we do not find any reason to keep the writ petition pending.
