Petitioner in this case is seeking a direction to the respondents to send the government amount for the scheme 'Mukhya Mantri Nischaya Paijal Yojna' in the joint account of the petitioner and one Pramila Devi who are claiming duly selected Secretary and Ward Member of Ward No. 11, Gram Panchayat Raj Kararia, Kotwa Block, District East Champaran, Motihari.

From a reading of the statements made in the writ application it appears that the Block Development Officer,

Patna High Court CWJC No.22108 of 2019(2) dt.19-11-2019 2/2 Kotwa, East Champaran has vide his Letter No. 495 dated 26.08.2017 directed the Central Bank of India, Bariyarpur Branch, Motihari to change the name of the account holder and the bank account opened in the name of 'Ward Development Committee' has been directed to be changed in the name of 'Ward Implementation and Management Committee'. He has also given the account number in his letter as contained in Annexure '5' to the writ application.

In the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, the Block Development Officer, Kotwa, District East Champaran (Respondent No. 3) is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take an appropriate decision thereon in accordance with the government's policy and the scheme in question.

In case any remedial measure is required to redress the grievance of the petitioner, he may proceed to take such remedial measures in accordance with the terms of the scheme. The writ application stands disposed off accordingly. (Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, J) vats/ved U
