Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8,20(b)(ii)(B),25 of the N.D.P.S.Act.
The petitioner is in custody since 26.08.2016 on allegation that 01 Kg and 650 Gms of Ganja was recovered from his possession.
Earlier, this Court had refused prayer for bail on 25.04.2017 in Cr.Misc.No. 54486 of 2016 with liberty to renew the prayer for bail after nine months, if the trial is not concluded in the meantime.
The report of the learned Trial Judge would reveal that even after expiry of one year from the date of framing of the charges, no prosecution witness has turned

In the circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No.20 of 2016 arising out of Alamnagar Police Station Case No.113 of 2016, G.R.No.652 of 2016, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
