2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 331(4), 64, 62, 61(2), 79, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. Prosecution case, in brief, is that on 04.04.2025 at about 4:30 AM, when informant was sleeping, this petitioner entered into the house and tried to commit rape upon her. Next morning, in this regard, Panchayati was held and as per its decision, informant hit the petitioner four times with slippers. Later on, informant came to know that this petitioner posted entire occurrence of assault on social media.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further contends that F.I.R. has been lodged after inordinate delay of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70130 of 2025(2) dt.07-10-2025 2/2 more than 20 days and as per the decision of Panchayati, petitioner has sufficiently been punished by the informant. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and clean antecedent, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of Court No. 4, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Muzaffarpur (East) in connection with Hattha P. S. Case No. 54 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
