2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Raushanganj P.S. Case No. 243 of 2023, lodged on 19.08.2023, under Sections 304B, 120B/34 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution, the FIR has been lodged against four named accused persons including the present petitioner against whom there is allegation of killing the daughter of the informant due to non-fulfillment of dowry.

4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel submits that the victim was putting pressure upon the petitioner to fulfill her whim and choice and due to financial crisis, he could not fulfill her all demands, then she threatened to commit

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72011 of 2024(2) dt.03-10-2024 2/2 suicide. Counsel further submits that the petitioner has one criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 01.09.2023.

5. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that specific allegation is against the petitioner. Counsel submits that due to non-fulfillment of dowry all the accused persons killed the informant's daughter by giving poison.

6. In this view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
