====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 05-12-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504, 506, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, it is alleged that the petitioner assaulted the informant by means of lathi and danda, and also pointed a pistol at him and threatened him with dire consequences.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are general and omnibus allegations against this petitioner. The doctor has found the injury to be simple in nature and the petitioner claims to have clean antecedents.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66584 of 2025(2) dt.05-12-2025 2/2 opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Considering the general and omnibus allegations and the nature of the injury, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is allowed.
7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above-named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-V, Nalanda at Biharsharif, in connection with Manpur P.S. Case No. 142 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.
