This is an application for bail in connection with Thakaraha P.S.Case No. 100 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of dowry death and he is said to be husband of deceased and it appears that he has set on fire the deceased.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is general and omnibus allegation and no specific allegation is attributed against him and he is in custody for six months. Heard learned APP also.
Having heard both sides and in view of allegation, I am
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48882 of 2017 (3) dt.14-11-2017 2/2 not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, since the petitioner is in custody for six months, learned trial is directed to expedite the trial. With the above observation, this application is dismissed. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) spal/- U
