The petitioner is in custody in connection with Katihar Town P.S. Case No.164 of 2017, a case under Sections 302/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Father of the informant sustained fire-arm injury almost in his presence and informant saw that two persons were fleeing on motorcycle. Out of that co-accused Pankaj Kumar Singh was identified. The F.I.R. further discloses that Pankaj Kumar Singh was demanding money from the father of the informant.

Submission of the petitioner is that though the

Moreover, the doctor has found single fire-arm injury on the person of the victim. Considering the aforesaid submission, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
