1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending her arrest in connection with Kishanganj Excise P.S. Case no. 901 of 2024 registered under sections 30(a) and 32(3) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
3. As per the prosecution case, on a checking being conducted at the border of Bihar and Bengal, a scooty was apprehended and 21 litres of country liquor was recovered from a sack on the scooty. The cousin brother of the petitioner herein was taken into custody.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner who happens to be a lady has been falsely implicated in the case only for the reason that she happens to be the registered owner of the vehicle in question from which the alleged seizure is said to have taken place. Even as per the prosecution case, no incriminating article has been seized from her possession nor was she present anywhere near the vehicle at the time of the alleged seizure. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner in the F.I.R., the petitioner who is a lady being nowhere near the vehicle in question when the alleged seizure of liquor is said to have taken place together with the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Kishanganj Excise P.S. Case no. 901 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
