JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-10-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner, State and Power Holding Company.

The writ application has been filed by the husband of Smt. Chhathiya Devi for grant of compensation on the ground that his wife died on account of electrocution, on 13.07.2013. The petitioner has enclosed different documents in support of his case that his wife died, as she came in contact with live wire, which was lying unattended in the village. From para 4 of the counter affidavit, it appears that

Patna High Court CWJC No.22663 of 2013 (4) dt.30-10-2015 2 / 2 N.B.P.D.C.L. has already paid Rs.2,00,000/- (Two lakh) to the petitioner vide cheque no. 819615 dated 15.02.2014. In course of hearing, the petitioner is aggrieved with the quantum of compensation granted to him.

In my view, if the petitioner seeks higher compensation, he can take resort remedy of either filing a suit or moving the Human Rights Commission.

With the aforesaid liberty, this writ application stands disposed of.
