1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) To issue an appropriate order/s, direction/s including a writ preferably in the nature of Mandamus, commanding and directing the respondent No.3 (hereinafter referred to as District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur Licensing Authority under the Arms Act, 1959) to allow the petitioner to purchase and take possession of the Arms subsequent to grant of license vide license No.396 of 2009.

(ii) To direct the respondent No.3 to renew the license of petitioner subject to payment of requisite fee.

Patna High Court CWJC No.15083 of 2024(2) dt.01-10-2024 2/2 (iii) To quash the order contained in memo No.121 dated 16.05.2019, by which the Incharge Officer, District Arms Section, Vaishali has refused to renew the Arms License of the petitioner."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
