2. Writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the Class IV post on the compassionate ground.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that father of the petitioner died in harness on 14.7.2004 while working at Class IV post in Sabour Agriculture University. Thereafter, petitioner's brother Delip Das, who was appointed on the Class IV post of Chaukidar in the said University on the compassionate ground too died during service period on 24.2.2021 due to AIDS. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has filed a representation dated 18.9.2024 (annexure P/5) seeking compassionate appointment before the Vice Chancellor of the University (respondent no.3) which is still pending for disposal.

4. Since petitioner's representation is still pending, let respondent no.3 examine the same and pass appropriate order

Patna High Court CWJC No.16230 of 2024(2) dt.29-10-2024 2/2 in accordance with law after hearing the parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the application.

5. Writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
