This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Sarairanjan P.S. Case No.41 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

About 24 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the house of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 18.08.2023.

Considering the quantum of recovery as well as the period of custody of the petitioner, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71396 of 2023(2) dt.07-11-2023 2/2 the learned Special Judge, Excise-II, Samastipur, in connection with Sarairanjan P.S. Case No.41 of 2021.

This is subject to the condition that petitioners shall mark his attendance in Sarairanjan Police Station, District-Samastipur, on first Sunday of every month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
