JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 09-01-2020 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 91 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 275 of the Arms Act.

As per F.I.R. 3-4 miscreants were seen in the boundary of K.B.U. N. L. Plant of N.T.P.C. when they challenged, they started making firing, causing injuries to one of the police personal. Later on, they have fled away from the spot. Later on, petitioner was arrested in connection with a case and he has been made confessional statement. Apart from that he is accused in six other cases of similar type.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that except confessional statement there is nothing against the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63100 of 2019(3) dt.09-01-2020 2/2 petitioner and he is in custody for more than six months. Charge sheet has already been submitted.

Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having heard both sides, in view of the submissions, as made above, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, he is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail once charges have been framed against him. With the above observations, this application is dismissed.
