The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Chatauni P.S. Case No. 226 of 2017 registered under Sections 406, 420, 409, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the serious nature of allegation that the petitioner being policy holder of LIC got himself declared dead and received payment of Rs.3,18,000/- in the name of his wife, who was made nominee in the policy, I am not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11714 of 2018 (2) dt.27-02-2018 inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application is rejected. In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
