Petitioners, already in custody, seek bail in connection with Katoria P.S. Case No.189 of 2017, registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that within six months of the marriage, the daughter of the informant was killed by the family members of in-laws for not fulfilling the demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegations are false and petitioners, father-in-law and motherin-law live separately; whereas the learned counsel for the State submits that it is a case of homicide as post-mortem report reveals that the deceased was strangulated.
