2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University refering to para-7 to 9 of the show cause filed on behalf of the opposite party nos.3-5 submitted that in

Patna High Court MJC No.2887 of 2023(5) dt.18-07-2025 2/2 complaince of the order of this Court, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission, the present contempt petition is consigned in view of the specific statement made in para-7, 8 and 9 which is reproduced hereinafter: "7. That, it is humbly submitted that, during the pendency of this contempt application, the petitioner has died and his wife Kunti Devi have been substituted in his place and immediately after his death family pension of Rs 40,905/- (Forty thousand nine hundred five) admissible D.A. became fixed and it is regularly being paid vide letter No. A/C PEN - 50, dated 14.06.2024.

8. That, it is also humbly submitted here by that Rs 2,75,533/- (Two lakhs Seventy five thousand five hundred thirty three) has been paid to wards the group insurance along with interest of 12% on 20.06.2024.

9. That, it is humbly submitted that, not only that the arrear of difference of pension as per 7th pay fixation since April 2017 to March 2019 of Rs 3,06,953/- (three lakhs six thousand nine hundred fifty three) and for the period of April 2019 to March 2020 of Rs 2,49,117/- (Two Lakhs forty nine thousand one hundred seventeen) has also been paid and now nothing remains."

4. However, if the petitioner is not statisfied with the payment, she would be at liberty to avail remedy in accordance with law.
