JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-11-2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Dhansoi PS case no. 185 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 364(A) of Indian Penal Code. The case of the prosecution is that the son of the informant went to his maternal house on 26.12.2016 and returned on 27.12.2016 but he did not reach his village rather there was a ransom call.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come to light in view of the confessional statements of co-accused Mantu Pandey and Mantu Ram and one of them i.e. Mantu Pandey has already been granted bail by the Hon'ble Court vide order dated 11.09.2017 passed in Cr.Misc. no. 42057 of 2017. It is further submitted that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53479 of 2017 (2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 01.07.2017.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Dhansoi PS case no. 185 of 2016.
