2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mithanpura P.S. Case No. 343 of 2014 (G.R. No. 6021 of 2014) registered for the offence under Sections 414, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is an absconder of nine years. He had fled away after having been caught by the police in the present F.I.R.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has absconded for nine years, therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present.

5. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71352 of 2023(2) dt.07-11-2023 2/2 is rejected herewith.

6. The trial of the petitioner is directed to be expedited and concluded within six months. If the same is not concluded within six months, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
